Just purchased a house. I am looking to buy some ND merchandise for a "ND room." I am thinking about buying the Play Like a Champion sign and the Snow Bowl picture with Mirer and Bettis. Do you guys have any suggestions and/or what do you have in your homes? Is NDshop.com the best site to use? Thanks in advance.

That is the best place for the specific items you outlined.

Im looking at doing the same soon. Im thinking about the ND wall runners acouple collector mugs a mirror with one of the cool ND designs on it. I have a dart board with ND flights and acouple banners, but I think I gave up the right to the free room once I bought my vette, so it will take some careful planning to get my foot in the door again.
I always liked the movie posters with the four horsemen or Lou Holtz, maybe a team picture if I could get my hands on one. Of course half the room is going to be filled with Army Ranger and Sniper pics.

There are a bunch of sites to get ND stuff. The cheapest site I've found is: Irishfanshop.com

I hope this helps.

Be sure to check out our sponsor, Football Fanatics. They have some cool things under the Kitchen & Bar section and under the collectibles section. Plus, if you buy from them, you help the site out!

ive got an ND room in my house, I have a 10 foot bar with custom made ND barstools and many posters. I have a brick from the stadium in a glass case on a shelf, and i have a ten foot mat with the ND logo on it in the center of the room. I spent alot of time and energy and money on it, but its freakin awesome.

I have a four horsemen poster nicely matted/framed and a really nice cross-stitched piece my mother made for me - the framing/matting was something around $200 - really looks nice. I'm looking to get the snow bowl and the '93 FSU game posters - as i was at both games and still have my ticket stubs, so will probably get a custom frame job done so i can include the tix. Man, i need to get a bigger place so i can have "an ND room!"

i've got three blue/gold scrimmage programs from the 89,90 & 91. they've got autographs on them from rocket ismail, todd light, chris zorich, don grim, scott kowalkowski, and even rick mirer (he was a recruit at the time). i been intending to have them matted and framed for years now...

The Play Like a Champion sign is a must have! Snow Bowl pic would also be high on the list.

My wife & I have also turned our finished basement into an ND room, in addition to several framed posters (4 to be exact) adorning the walls, I have several unique items: a framed & signed SI Cover of Mo Stovall catching a TD pass from Holiday vs MSU in Ty's first year, and two signed footballs - one by the 1998 starting offense & defense (I was a student manager), and the other signed by the 2003 seniors (obtained at the football banquent). IMO, unique items (read: autographed) can really make the room special. Other "filler" includes ND hats, a huge fleece blanket hanging over the couch, and countless other random stuff from the bookstore.

The encased brick mentioned above is also very cool!

I'd like to get the snow bowl pic also. I was at the game standing on the sidelines at about the 20 towards the south endzone. Best game i've ever been to. Rick Mirer slid into me on the game winning drive. The stadium was going nuts!!

ill tell you what else i did, i have all the posters you can order from blue and gold.com, but i didnt order them framed because they were ridiculously expensive that way. I just bought frames myself. Also for great framed pictures, I cut out players pictures from a couple of the old football calendars and framed them, and they look really sweet. I have all kinds of pics and posters and i really didnt spend that much on all of them.

Yeah, but $45 for a $5 doggie dish is insane. But hey, sometimes Irish love knows no monetary boundary.
