I have been lucky enough to come across a couple boxes of the 1990 First Edition Collegiate Collection Notre Dame Fighting Irish trading cards featuring the All-Time greats including Joe Montana, Ross Browner, etc.
In the spirit of giving, I figured I'd come up with a contest that would allow for some of you to come away with a nice little prize. I've also come across some other nice Notre Dame items, but I'm going to keep them hush hush for right now.
So this contest, the 2005 Season Kickoff Giveaway is going to be a multi-faceted competition that will span the next couple months. There rules are as follows:
From June 7 to July 3 - Invitation Open: for the next month you are challenged to refer as many new members to IrishEnvy as you can. The top referrer will earn 10 points, and each respective member in succession will earn a number based on rank with everyone at least earning 1 point.
July 4 to August 1 - Summer Heat: For the middle month, when most people will be outside playing in the pool, you'll earn points for a variety of things including 1) referring new members 2) your new referrals being active 3) continued quality posts and 4) joining the Varsity Club. The top referrer will earn 10 points, and each respective member in succession will earn a number based on rank with everyone at least earning 1 point. If you join the Varsity Club, you get an automatic 5 points in addition to your earned points.
August 2 to September 1 - Chat Challenge: for the final month, your challenged to spur conversation by posting. At the end of the month, the mods will vote for the Top 10 posters and they will be awarded points like the previous months.
On September 2nd, we will add up all of the points and announce the winners before the season opening kickoff against Pittsburgh.
