Just curious who's going to see the Irish play this fall...I've got tickets to the Navy game, and my brother has tickets to the Tennessee game. Just thought it might be cool to hear which games people are going to - it's always nice to know which "reporters" will be in the field on gameday, versus the rest of us who have to watch them on TV.

I think I'll be at the Navy game, too. I was going to go to the USC game but it looks like my tickets fell through since the guy who was going to sell them to me now wants tripple.

I'll be prolly at: Michigan State, Navy, Syracuse and maybe another game depends on if my sister can sneak me into any other games (ie. USC)

I didn't submit for the lottery this year, but since I've moved to Chicago, I'll probably see if I can find tickets to something.

I may try and do an away game. I've always been able to scalp in the past, but even against the Irish some teams have a hard time selling-out. During the 2003 'Return to Glory' year, I was able to get tickets to every game I went to, which included all the home games in addition to FSU, MSU, and Navy.

I'm originally from the Lansing area. MSU is actually not a bad place to watch the Irish, and I've NEVER had a problem getting tickets to the game. Although for future reference, if you ever get tickets in the student section, don't even try to endure it. Go straight to the wall underneath the upper deck - you can lean against the wall and you won't have to deal with drunk spartans trying to pick a fight with you every time the Irish have success.

and can someone explain to me this lottery?

The lottery is for alumni. When you donate whatever the assigned minimum amount of $$$ for your age bracket is to Notre Dame (obviously you can donate more), you are eligible to participate in a lottery in which you may-and generally will-receive tickets. You have to pay for all the games you want up front so that the university can compile a little interest on your money, before the university will give you a possible number of tickets (anywhere from all to nothing of what you had asked for) with a refund check for the games you didn't get. It is a very brilliant strategy for ensuring the cash supply. It also boosts the statistics for alumni donations.

If you can't get them by normal means, make sure you check out our site sponsor Victory Tickets. Be sure you tell Bob that IrishEnvy sent you!

Tickets can be attained for almost any game. Just be patient and don't buy from the first guy you see selling. Wait till about 20 minutes before the game and start making moves. The key is patience. Might pay a bit more than face for the big games, but guarantee you'll get 'em.

you've got tickets to some excellent games. if charlie has some success, there's potential for some memorable moments there. we'll expect a full review of the games from you... maybe we can even talk svoboda into making a gameday photos section where you can post some pics (for those of us lucky enough to be there) ;-)

Those will be big games for recruit visits as well.

My SC tix are on the 50 about five rows from the press box.

Tennessee will be on the Touchdown Jesus side of the field right behind the goal posts.

Just call me AIRTIME. Hopefully the only time I'll be on TV is when ND is scoring in that end zone.

I had a hard decision to make a couple weeks ago. Me and my girlfriend were going to buy tickets for the USC game or go to the Rolling Stones concert in Philly. I chose to go to the stones because I want to see them before they stop touring. It was the hardest decision of my life, but i secretly plan to go to the Syracuse game- she just doesnt know it yet.

I got tickets to Michigan State and USC. Should be some pretty good games, the home opener and what is probably the toughest game of the year.
