Inspired by the new video that will be coming out in August, lets see how we rate the Top 20 Notre Dame quarterbacks of All-Time. Everyone submit their Top 20 (with or without analysis) and I'll make an Excel spreadsheet to give us our community Top 20 list.

He also had 5 years to prove himself, McDougal had 12 games; I mean Quinn is above McDougal and Jackson, I wasn't a big fan of Jackson but he certainly has displayed more skill the Quinn has to this point.

True, I am basing Quinn's ranking mostly on potential even though he had the second best passing yardage last season in School history.

As for Mcdougal its a shame we only had him for a year but I think the ranking is accurate.

McDougal played behind Mirer for so long, he never really got the chance to showcase himself. 1993 was a great season and McDougal was not a part of Minter's defense that got throttled by Boston College in the last game of the year. He played a near flawless game against Florida State and was the last QB to preside over a bowl victory for ND. I think he merits a ranking, but not in the top 15.

Ron Powlus was a four year starter. That has to count for something. And keep in mind Holtz had this guy running the option, yet he still holds nearly every ND passing record. If Holtz had been a little wiser, who knows what Powlus' numbers could look like.
