Bartley Webb Commits To Irish!!!!!

Word just broke on the Fayetteville stations that Bartley Webb of Springdale High School here in Arkansas has announced his intentions to sign with the Fighting Irish.

Webb is generally ranked as the top offensive lineman in the state, a 3-star who was close to a 4-star recruit. Word around the grapevine is that the #1 QB in the country (Mitch Mustain) is strongly considering Notre Dame as well as Arkansas and a couple other schools.

Wow, if I remember correctly, he is a pretty big boy. Do you happen to have any online source to confirm? Which radio station?

A friend I have from Fayetteville called me up and told me. I have no idea what radio station, but I'm holding my breath until it comes out on Blueandgold.com.

6' 7" 290 lbs. Big Boy. BGI is correct when they say C-Dub needs to land 5 to 6 Offensive Linemen this year as they are real thin. This plowboy gets the Irish a bigtime talent.

The more and more I look at Webb, the more i do not want him on the Notre dame team. He deseves to go to a respectable Division I university where he will win some games.

IrishEnvy is not like the other Notre Dame boards out there. While we don't mind people bashing the Irish, it must be done without bias and through solid debate. If you cannot follow our forum rules, I'd suggest you don't post.

The first O-Lineman of the pack. Hopefully others to follow.

Not sure Mustain will sway more towards the Dome because of this. He wants to be the man and with Frazer on board already, Mustain's interest has fallen off. I believe the feeling is mutual with the staff. They're pursuing Jones and Hartline.

Webb has to realize how soon he will play by coming to ND. O line is a major need right now.

pretty solid having 10 commits already. looks like the only teams with more commits right now is pitt, ucla, and texas. texas has i believe 22 commits!

Man! If you watch his videos up on his profile, you will know he is a BAD ASS! He doesn't stop until the whistle blows, and even then sometimes he keeps going. He is truley a dominant lineman. I cannot wait for him to put on the ND jersey.
