Dave Matthews Concert,Push ups in the middle of the road, Calling him God. Safe to say he was stoned. I bet his parents thought that he'd be a brain surgeon or high price attorney when they gave him that cool sounding name. Sorry Mr&Mrs Sexton your son picked FSU.

I'm willing to bet you whatever illegal money they're paying this kid that he'll be on the field Labor Day as the starter against Miami.

If this kid's dad is an assistant coach, nothing will happen to him. They shafted Adrian McPherson because they had to and he was expendable. This kid has a parent on the staff and is the only guy who has seen the field.

James Caan made it happen at ECU for Bobby Collins....

ESU....my bad.

Darnell Jefferson should have gotten more touches. Collins was definitely a walk on QB.

Wasn't there a scene that got cut out of that movie where they were laying in the middle of the highway?

Much like Mr. Sexton.

McPherson....Rix....now this guy. Maybe they should do the mature route and get 30 year olds like Weinke.

yeah I actually saw that scene in the theater before they cut it out. I went with my dad and it was like the second day the movie had been out, then some jacka**es tried to really do it and got ran over so they cut it. Latimer was awesome, a freak on the defense. "STARTING DEFENSE BABY!!! (he then smashes his head through a car window as coaches look on)

I believe the film was made at NC State, as they were called the WOLVES in the movie. But their colors were that of Florida State. And some of the things that happened to their players were that of FSU as well.

I think the Noles were the model for the characters in the film.

And Halle Berry being in the movie automatically gave it two stars.

The Program is an awesome movie. I had it on VHS and wore it away so I recently picked it up at Frys for like $5.00.

Calvin, what is your job here?
To kill the quarterback.
And here?
To kill everybody.

If that doesn't get you pumped for football, nothing will.

No scene is better than Jefferson taking the punt back as James Caan runs down the sidelines after him at the end. Awesome.

Y'all, he has a mental condition.

I still doubt that. His father said he "does not have a drug abuse problem," which is different from saying: "he was wacked-out on a odd mix of acid and shrooms that he scored off of a left-over hippie-broad at a Dave Matthews concert, but that doesn't generally happen too often." But, what the hell, maybe he is just goofy in the head. I'm still siding with the theory that it was the good ole' bayou fun and the coaches are covering it up free-shoes-style.

This also cracked me up:

http://www.sportingnews.com/experts/matt-hayes/20050621.html:

"His friends wouldn't let police search the apartment where the young men had been "napping" before Sexton's episode."

Clearly, he was on something. And depending on what supplements this guy takes for conditioning, the street stuff and the GNC stuff might have mixed and gone a little loopy in his head.

Hallucinogens and muscle juice aren't the best mix.

Call ME cynical, but steroids and drugs are a lethal mix that could cause one to act strange.

steroids and red bull and vodka will make a man psycho. Its already proven that red bull and vodka makes you temporarily insane.

Is this your own experience from sleazin' on chicks at a bar? Is that still the hip chick-drink (and didn't it have its own name?). I had one once and said "this is bad news." Since I've been here in Boston, I've had to put up with the pretense of martinis and overpriced beer, and girls who "go out for a drink" rather than "go out drinking."

As for me and mine, Old Fashioneds and Stingers. Perhaps a White Russian if its a nightcap, but always-ALWAYS-end the evening with a shot of Maker's Mark and no chaser, no matter what you are drinking.

One night as a younger man, I decided to have a Red Bull and Vodka night. I am ashamed to admit it, but it was one of those "try it because everyone else is doing it" mistakes I made while metriculating in college.

I have not drank the "potion" since because it altered my heart rate for about 3 days. They should just market the stuff as RED BULL AND VODKA.

Wyatt Earp here, on the other hand, was on something much more magical I think.

I dont know what that means. Dont know whether to be offended or find it humorous.

But I am guessing he is on something alittle stronger than red bull and vodka. I never thought of Tallahassee as a good city. Or FSU as a clean program so it could have been anything.

That's when you know you're doing it right!

Seriously, what would there be to be offended about?

AWESOME!!

Somewhere, Steve Spurrier is smiling at this. It used to be the Gator QBs were the biggest headcases in the state...they never knew if they'd be starting, playing or what the deal was half the time. The Visor was always a step away from yanking them.

Lyme Disease...brilliant coverup!

Seriously, if it's true I hope the kid gets right. But something about this just doesn't smell right. Boneroo (sp?) is known for harboring more illegal smoke than Ricky Williams and Nate Newton at a Phish concert. As for his therapy, let's skip all of the conventional options and go to the most dramatic solution. Remember the chick on MTV's real world (I think it was the Seattle season) who was diagnosed with Lyme disease? remember the "metrosexual" Black guy who smacked her when she was driving off in the cab? I say we hire Star Jones' "husband"...
grammy05c.jpg

...and get him to run after Sexton's cab and smack him upside the head. If that doesn't cure the boy, nothing will.

As for the worst drink I've ever had...Corona mixed with SopCo, mixed withMiller High Lifes, mixed with Peach Schnapps, and a splash of Coca-Cola. Here's a reenactment of how the night ended: ...:puke:

Rack me, I'm out.
