When would be best time to buy Purdue tix

I'm looking to travel down from Ontario, Canada for my first ND game and I'm conflicted on when to buy tickets. There are some for sale on craigslist and ebay, but I worry about getting scammed and the seat locations don't seem great.

Am I safe to buy tickets on campus if I'm arriving on campus at 11am? Is there another place/website I should look?

Also, what section of the stadium (if any) is best for getting the true ND experience?

Are there any other musts I should do on my visit.

Don't have a time but if I were you, I'd try here first:

Notre Dame Club of Canada-Toronto - Home

Their contact person is at the bottom of the page. Tell him your story. There may be members there who have tickets they can't use and will be willing to sell them at face value to another ND fan.

You don't have to be an ND alumnus to be a member of an ND Club. Send him an email. you might not score your tickets but at the least you'll find a group to watch games with.

There are Purdue tickets available through the university. That is your best bet.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. After all these years, I had no idea there was an ND club in Toronto.

Tickets will be easy to get on gameday.

Lower rowdoes not equal better seats...very hard to see the other end if you are in the 1st 10 or so rows.
