yeah i read this earlier on espn.com...that's great news(for us) bad news for SC. With Byrd getting beat up by a teammate, and now this, it just goes to show you what kind of program they truly are. That's one of the reasons why I have always loved ND, even though the level of play was bad if not horrible, the program has always, i should say 99% of the time produced quality respectable young men. Now mix that with a winning program, and it will be awesome

LenDale White would be a HUGE loss. I'm so happy for them!

These guys will be on the field come September, I can assure you. And yes, even if they aren't some other All American will take their place.

This is a not only a rival, but they're a dirtbag program and that makes it hurt even more when they thrash ND annually. At least BC and Purdue have a bit of class....even though they still suck.

PLEASE....NEVER put BC and 'class' in the same sentence.....remember they are one of the traitor programs that fled the Big East to join the ACC...the only thing they have in common with the ACC is that Boston is literally on the Atlantic Coast....also remember their fans AND players who 'celebrate' by trashing the ND visitor's locker room and tearing up arguably the most (or second most...Augusta National arguably the first) sacred sod this side of St. Andrews when they stole my national championship in '93. SCREW Bastahd College and good riddence..we showed them and the country this year what a sham their basketball program was...I hope that they have fun being an also ran in the ACC

If anyone stole a National Championship in 1993, it was the voters....and Rick Minter's scheme that game that couldn't stop St. Gilbert's Junior High passing attack.

I'm done blaming these schools for jumping conferences. This is the state of the game right now. Money, money and more money. Thank Miami and Virginia Tech for ending college athletics as we know it. Everyone that follows is simply doing what they need to do to keep up with the checkbook.

I hate Boston College. There really shouldn't be any reason for me to, though. We should be beating their asses every year.
