While this is certainly preliminary, Maurice Stovall emailed me back today agreeing to take questions from Varsity Club members.

So here is how this is going to work... For the time being, post questions that you would like to ask Mo. After I have a nice variety of questions, I will gather them up and select 5 to 7 of them and forward them on to Maurice to answer.

Sound cool? Only Varsity Club members will be allowed to ask questions, so get to thinking and post your questions up.

Well, since nobody has said anything, here goes a quick list.

1.) In your recruiting process, you spoke with both Davie and Willingham, and oversaw the O'Leary fiasco. Now you will be entering into your senior year with yet another coach. Would you have come to ND knowing Willingham would be gone?

2.) What part do players on the team play during recruiting visits?

3.) How important was it for you to know you would play early at ND when you chose to come to ND? This is also unique to your perspective, because even when there is serious depth one can reasonably expect to play by their sophomore year if they are good, particularly at receiver.

4.) Some believe you have the physical tools to be one of the best receivers in the NFL, and I'm sure you will be drafted. Do you have any further intentions for after you are done playing in the NFL?

5.) Who is your favorite former player and why?

6.) How many times a week does Brady Quinn get laid? In the off-season?

Great questions (especially 1 & 3).

I guess I'll go ahead and ask my generic question.

What's the best thing (and the worst thing) about being a football player at the University of Notre Dame?

1. What is the learning curve coming out of high school and entering the college game - how easy/difficult was it to grasp the complexity of the offensive system and new responsibilities such as reading defenses, blocking schemes, etc?

2. How did you feel the first time you tapped the "Play Like a Champion Today" sign and ran out of the tunnel into Notre Dame Stadium?

Just FYI... this was declined out of the blue by the Big Tuna.

D'oh!

Well, as long as MoSto does his talking on the field I guess it's alright.

I think this will be a breakout season for him & Brady.
