I had the same thing a week ago I took 'tylenol severe cold and flu' (this stuff has twice of everything Nyquil has) it went away in a day and a half.
If that does not work Z-packs are the heat, but I think you need a prescription.
My girl friend is a pharm D and she said it has been going around a lot. They are all sold out of Z-packs and also all of the ingredients to make it themselves.
