Weis drew a slightly longer standing ovation from the 1,750 people at Notre Dame’s opening night baseball dinner than seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens, or his Houston Astros teammate, closer Brad Lidge, a former Notre Dame standout.

Weis drew his first boos from Notre Dame fans when he told them he grew up in New Jersey as a die-hard fan of the New York Yankees.

“I hated Roger for many years because he pitched at Fenway,” Weis said. “Then he came over to the good guys and realized winning is what it is all about.”

I think it is fun to hate the Yankees. They set the standard. Much like the reason so many people hate Notre Dame. To me, nothing makes me want to puke more than October Fox dugout shots of Derek Jeter....over and over and over again. It was fun watching a World Series and not having to see his face every five seconds.

I came back after Moderators fueled the fire as for topics against banned people. Ive been in many forums, chatrooms, blogs, etc and NO ONE excepting Irish Envy has ever tried to fueled the fire as for banned members.

I may have lambasted C-Lep but on the grounds of why you and others lambasted me when i put links to my site on here. I apologized to him he apologized to me and it was taken care of and now i and him are pretty good friends. Ive no idea what a red star means. Also i dont understand Irishenvy. The people from here go and say things that they get banned from other sites. If someone doesnt become part of their Vasity club or are catholic and say it they are treated like Cr**. I then get a red star because of something i did over a month ago and that has been resolved since.

He was talkin' about me, man. I got banned by that "idjit" Sean over at our site of the month. But the difference is that unlike over at kg, you have people over here who are willing to work with you. This place is pretty much wide-open, as long as you can express yourself in an intelligent, respectful manner.

And it's a shame, Pete...because you're probably a good dude. What happened with Kelly Green. I was checking out his site today, and I saw that he's declaring war with Irishenvy. He's upset about Irishenvy giving him an award for the Gil Sidrick bit, and then calling him a racists for his Ty comments.

Sounds like Sean at Kelly Green is a few bricks shy of a load. NDLyght37 went over there and criticized him for his 'IntegriTY' post, as he would over here.

Sean doesn't much care for anybody having a different opinion, so he called NDLyght37 and everybody at IrishEnvy a racist (apparent guilt by association...oh, the irony). Then he banned NDLyght37 because he wasn't going to "take crap on his own site" or some other such rationalization for his lack of a sack.

I suspect Sean's just a tool. I would like to believe he would have been cock-punched when I was there, and I suspect he's probably just a whiny little bitch. I certainly hope I run into him at a bar in South Bend, except he'll probably be safely tucked away at Chilli's in Mishawaka for Margaritta night with the other pansies of the world.

I'm not sure, bro. It feels like something between a cold & the flu. I called basketball games the past to Fridays, and I woke up the next day sick both times. I think it's because I talk all day at work, and then when I do a broadcast, that's another 4 hours of talking. Plus VA weather sucks (45-50 degrees during the day and about 30 degrees in the evening).
