At least he's going out on a good season. I still think he's not nearly as good as Barry Sanders or Walter Payton...but he is a first-ballot Hall-Of-Famer, and a hell of a good guy.

I agree he's a first-ballot Hall-Of-Famer. He's the NFL's all-time leading rusher. Plus unlike Barry and Walter, Emmitt had awesome playoff numbers.

Gotta give Emmitt some credit, many seem to bash him because he holds the rushing record.

If Emmitt didn't get injured this year, he would of had another 1000 yard season, At his age thats impressive. Not to mention he played on a team with no QB.

First ballot hall of famer no doubt.

Emmitt is denying the report.

While he was good, I don't think he was ever a great back. He had one of the best OLs and blocking FB and TEs in the league.

He isn't even close to being in my top 5. I'd take Curtis Martin 99 times out of 100 over Emmitt... what he is doing is amazing considering what he works with.
