Here's a new guy on ND's radar

David Horton, a 5'10" 165 lb. WR/CB from Allentown, PA (Central Catholic) said that Notre Dame is his "dream school" and that he is very, very interested now that the new Irish staff has contacted him. Last year he caught 51 passes for 617 yds., 51 solo tackles on defense, and 329 kick return yds. He also sports a 4.4 second 40 and a 3.3 GPA.

CB is the position (Depth) that worries me the most on the team, if we can bring in bodies to play the position I say do it, 4.4 speed is fast

Western PA is great with high school football so this kid has played good compettion....

From his High Schools website I'm thinking his team wasn't so good, which might explain why a kid they call sure handed that runs a 4.35 40, has not gotten many looks.

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. He has average size, good speed and had good numbers. Something doesn't smell right.

It is pretty odd, but I think were at the point where we don't have any corners out there interested in playing for us, so we should offer Bennett and Horton. Just for depth reasons. Need to add a couple of bodies at the corner position.

It's another "Notre Dame is my favorite School" kid. This class is going to be full with a bunch of Rudy's....lol

And he plays tough competition in Western PA. Surprized alot of schools aren't looking at him.

Allentown is not in Western PA at all. It is actually located halfway between the Poconos in the NE and Philly in the SE along the NJ border. Route 78 runs from NJ into PA here. The Lehigh Valley area, and Central Catholic in particular, usually produce good players. Although I'm not as sure about ACC the last few years as I have moved to Wash DC area.
