i'm disagree. that would put florida state, miami, texas, michigan, and USC on the schedule every season. i realize the strength of schedule would be #1, but even with stellar coaching and playing, what are the odds of winning all those games? we shouldn't schedule middle tennessee and louisiana-monroe, but we need to have some games that are "in the bag" before we even take the field. playing three legitimate top-ten teams a year is enough.
Yeah, that schedule would be genuinely insane. You only need to prove yourself a couple of times in a season.
1.) I would play USC, TexasA&M (or Texas), and FSU for the reasons I listed earlier;
2.) I would play all three academies for the pomp & circumstance that goes with it, and these would be my chumps. I really believe we have to have some gimmies, and I love playing the academies;
3.) I would play Michigan, Purdue, and a third team in the Big Ten;
4.) I would play three Big East shools in an effort to stabilize the conference.
A schedule including USC, FSU, Texas, and Michigan would already be toward the top of the s-o-s, and would be a fine schedule.
