28-17 right now at the half and Vick came out and look like he was pissed with all of the talk this week about him not being a QB.
Falcons fan since the Chris Miller-Bobby Hebert days..born & raised in the ATL. This is the most excitement we've had since '98. And the funny thing is, I was actually against Mora's hiring...but the guy is really good.QueensNY said:I've said The falcons from the beginning......As a team I'm not impresse with them, but Vick is friggin ridiculous. The guy totally changes the outcome of a game.
Hey lgyht, not to hate on you, but are you a true falcon fan, or are you one of the many band wagon fans goin around.
I've had to hear all these Steeler fans come out of nowhere in NY. Man i can't stand the steelers or cowboys, no one has more bandwagon fans.
timm3117 said:The talk shouldn't be how good the Falcons are, It should be how the hell did the Rams make the playoffs. The Falcons might get lucky and have to beat a pair of 8-8 teams to make the super-bowl. They better hope Indy gets knocked out, A Colts vs Falcons SB could get really ugly. It might look alot like week seven when Atlanta played KC.

No.Rip Rap said:I don't really follow any NFL teams. I pretty much just want to see Domers in the NFL do well, and am pulling for Weis and the Patriots as long as I'm living in Cambridge. But I will say this: The Colts have the best quarterback in the NFL, and when his career is over he may even be the best in the history of the NFL. Much like Jordan with the Bulls, that's damn impressive, but I'm not sure that Indy's followers are necessarily bandwagon fans. They're just Manning fans. Do you really find that problematic?
I don't think they'll "get lucky" at all. If they make it to the Super Bowl, it'll most likley be through Philladelphia...no luck involved at all. But I think it's either Indy or Pittsburgh from the AFC.irishgo8 said:Have nothing more to add but that i agree the Falcons will get lucky and play in the SB against the Colts but that game will remind us of the FSU vs. Va Tech BCS championship game u remember?? Do u think thatll be the case.

Wow. Absolute and complete ass kicking.
But Atlanta's "D" is miles better than the Vikings. And Philly's weakness all year has been on run defense.timm3117 said:Philly's D is 500 times better then the Rams. If Vick only has 82 passing yards look for a score like Philly 28 Atlanta 7. Philly loves the blitz, Vick has fumble problems. I think Philly wins 24-10. And as a Giants fan living in Atlanta, its hard to pick Philly. But there an all-around better team, plus they'll be at home.
I can see your trepidation, but I believe that Atlanta is for real this year. The defense is one of the best blitzing "D's" in the NFL, and that will cause problems for McNabb. Also, Philly will give up yards to Vick, Duckett, & Dunn. I think it will be a tough game, but Atlanta will win (I hope).timm3117 said:We'll dont get me wrong I wouldn't be shocked to see Atlanta win. But I've watched all 16 Falcon games this year (not by choice), they won 12 games(counting the Vikings), only 2 against teams above .500. There D is average, there WR's are average, there O-Line is average, there an average team in a below average NFC. I just think Atlanta is alittle overrated. I might be wrong, but as a long time Atlanta resident, I know never trust the Falcons because they will find a way to screw things up.
