While I haven't seem him play, 158 tackles is absolutely amazing. To do that at any level, the kid would have to be lightning quick and an absolute ballhawk. I also did a quick search on him and check this:

"Senior linebacker Adam Decker has made a number of big defensive plays for Birmingham Brother Rice this season but none was bigger than the one that turned the game around for the Warriors.

With his team trailing 6-0 late in the first quarter, Decker blocked a punt and L.T. Herman returned it 20 yards for a touchdown and a 7-6 lead for Brother Rice. The play gave the Warriors the spark they needed as they went on to defeat Detroit De Porres 24-6 to capture the Catholic League A-B Division championship at Ford Field Saturday. "

Adam Decker, Birmingham Brother Rice: A two-year, two-way starter, Decker also played tight end. Brother Rice had one of the area's top defenses, and Decker was at the forefront. "He was the leader of our defense," Coach Al Fracassa said. "He was our catalyst. He was the guy who made our defense go." Decker had 84 tackles, 8.5 sacks and an interception. He has received offers from Indiana and Central Michigan, and Decker made an official visit to Stanford this past weekend.

Looks like he was also the cleanup hitter for the Varsity Baseball team. Looks like he is rated only two stars because he was in a Class A and he was in a Catholic League. Could be a major sleeper.

Class A is still pretty big around Detroit - AA would be better, but...

If memory serves, Brother Rice is consistently a pretty darn good football program.

Saw on College Sports TV that he verballed to Michigan State as a linebacker over Boston College and Georgia Tech. I don't think we ever offered him, despite his 'high' interest. As noted earlier, apparenly Iowa and Colorado had also given him offers.
