Yeah, but what is that based on? Current verbals and 'strong leans?' The entire landscape changed dramatically in the last few weeks. Think about a class with Stewart, Hardesty, Hord, Cushing, all our current verbals, and complete lines. I'm not sure that would be as low as 20. Probably closer to 15. Plus, I'm skeptical of the numbers anyway. I want to know who else gave these kids offers.

Well these numbers are of this morning...a few days ago, before the announcement of a few key visits,

I know it is not "exactly scientific"...but is does give you a good idea of where the class is headed

ps...i want to know how to get those cool pictures by my name, and under my posts :whoknows:

We need those OL bad. I guess Doering has given Iowa a "silent verbal" Has ND given up on him?

Weis hasn't given up on Doering, he paid him that in home visit before the dead period, but I feel he's going to Iowa.
Maybe we got a shot at Eubanks. Just getting him to visit was impressive. Turkovich and Duncan look like there leaning towards ND. So if we can get Eubanks to de commit from Iowa that would be great.

There are concerns about the lack of linemen Ty recruited the past two years. We picked up a transfer, which means we've only had one group of five come in the last two years. We are essentially missing a class. On the other hand, I think the OLine is probably the one position a typical coach is willing to be only 2 or 3 deep at.

Does anyone know, will Weis even be on campus this weekend? He's got some work yet to do over in New England...

I believe he was flying out quickly for Saturday. Somebody mentioned somewhere that he was speaking at the half of the basketball game. Probably flying out afterwards.

Ah excellent, two birds w/ one stone. He'll be there for the recruits, and hopefully he'll spur the b-ball team on to kick the crap out of 'nova (<- St. Joe's alum, hence hater of all things Villanova particularly the basketball team)

here is what Weis said at the half time during the B Ball game today.

- said he would be brief - didn't want to take away from b-ball game since we were winning.

- said he doesn't like losing and expects to win soon - very soon.

- mentioned the players that came came back early to host recruits and that they were attending game.

- said that he appreciated the appreciation and hoped that people would still appreciate them after the Pitt game. Also, after that "school from California" comes in on Oct 15. Said he hopes they(USC) are undefeated when we play them.

- said the attitude is going to change and that he is a tough guy from New Jersey. Said you can blame my parents for that.

- aknowledeged difficulty of recruiting and providing leadership to program while still trying to win a Super Bowl. Said that he hopes he can bring another Super Bowl ring with him though -
