Doug Worthington is a top target. The 6-7, 255-pound Scout.com five-star prospect had been committed to Ohio State but now appears to be taking visits. New Irish coach Brian Polian recently went to see Worthington about taking an official visit to Notre Dame.
from IrishEyes.com

Does anyone have any information on him? This staff is simply amazing!!!!

Considering we weren't even on his original list, if we pull him away, this staff with be painted up alongside Touchdown Jesus already.

If they get this guy they might have to construct a new building across for the opposite endzone. Touchdown Jesus on one side and Touchdown Weis on the other :)

Wouldn't it be nice if Weis became our Joe Pa :)

Only if he agrees to retire when he gets too old to do it anymore, and not drag out his career about 10 years too long

lol, fair enough. Doesn't matter anyway, even if (and that's admittedly a huge "if") he's an immense success, he'll probly be forced out before he break Rockne's record for most wins, so he couldn't be here as long as Paterno anyway.

Let's hope the powers that be have learned their lessons when it comes to protecting Rockne's record. I still get sick when i think of Lou getting pressured into leaving...
