South Bend Indiana????
I'd like to stay out of the doghouse. Speaking of Notre Dame, I am looking into Rome. Anyone ever been there?

I've been to Rome, its really nice there. Have to see St. Peter's while you're there, even if you're not Catholic, its just a beautiful church. And if you're in Italy, especially for a honeymoon, you have make some time to see Venice too. That city is gorgeous. But you have to do some research first, cause I remember reading somewhere that there's a certain time of year you're not supposed to visit Venice b/c it smells bad (don't ask, I just vaguely remember reading it somewhere. Talk to a travel agent, they'd probly know what I'm talking about. I was there in June and it smelled fine. lol)

i went to tokyo. spain and australia while i was still in the marines a couple years ago. they were all amazing, except spain. me and some buds were walking (stumbling) back to ship when these 2 locals rode by on this little scooter and threw horse shit on us. no crap, real horse manure. they flipped us off and sped away, which is like only 15 miles an hour but when you are 3 sheets to the wind, you cant catch anything. we were really mad, but then as we walked, scraping shit off of us, we noticed this little sccoter parked outside a cafe. it had a bucket hanging off the handle bar. it was the bucket used to throw shit on us. we snuck around the side picked up the scooter and ran off with it. the next bridge we came across, we threw that damn thing in the river. so to anyone, i would suggest watching out for "shit-bombs" in spain.

Never been to Rome. One day I'll take a trip to Europe. I also really want to visit Africa before I get to old.

I have been to Japan...great place to visit, but not a good honeymoon spot.

Anyways, you can't go wrong with Hawaii.

Are you slow?

1) The thread starts with OT, which translates into Off Topic.
2) The thread is in the Lep Lounge, which is "Grab a green beer and pull up your chair, It's happy hour at the Leprechaun Lounge. Got something on your mind? Share it. Everythings fair game here." In other words, it is for everything.
3) This isn't a blog, it is a message board. Please research the terminology.
4) I pay for it, so ultimately I rule all.

Only other country I've ever been to was Ireland. I went there this summer, Dublin was a really cool city. Bars are always packed any time any day, couldn't believe it. Guiness Factory in Dublin is a must see.

Have to go in the summer though, winters are cold and damp.

I work with an Australian guy. He's always raving about Australia and New Zealand.

My Dad went to Australia when he was young and loved it. He used to always tell me how great Australia was. And he pretty much went around the whole world.

I studied in Dublin for a summer, and have been back a couple times since. Very cool town. The west coast of Ireland is as romantic as it can get (there's a reason why such a small country has turned out so many famous writers), and there's great local culture everywhere you turn (inside and outside the pubs). Also, I always suggest Ireland or England for someone who's never been out of the country for two reasons 1) they'll be surprised at how different the culture is despite the fact that they speak English, and 2) they speak English - somewhat comforting when you're already dealing with the "culture shock."
