OK, OK, everybody on this board knows I've been sort of a WVU backer since the beginning of the season. I've been saying this team deserved to be in the NC if they go undefeated and beat everyone by what they are supposed to. So, on the bye week I drove down from Pittsburgh to Morgantown to watch them live with my own eyes(my wife is an alum). I have two observations about the game today.

1. Pat White, Steve Slaton and Owen Schmidt is the best backfield in the country. Steve Slaton and Pat White are rediculously fast, really guys they are. Watching them live is really unreal.
2. Their defense is horrendous and did not mature the way I thought. Most teams in the top 10 would score 45 on them. They could only beat one of those teams if the other team gave them more possessions through TO's.

I'm officially off their NC bandwagon and don't think it would be good for coll. foot if they made it. I'm also going to the wvu/louisville game on the 11/2 so I will continue to watch them and hold the right to change my mind.

Go Irish!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I guess I took their losses on D too lightly. Watching them live, I kept saying wow nobody on this team can make a play and they might be the worst tacklers in CFB. If they had last years defense with this yrs offense they would be the best team in the nation. But they don't.
