I second that motion. His hands are good but not great, i think he is a better rb, but possibly at his best on the defensive side of the ball.

How's this for have your cake and eating it too:

Little at running back and Deonte Thompson at wide receiver? OUCH.

In all honesty, I like Little at the WR spot. Rob Ianello can do great things with him there. Imagine the foursome of Richard Jackson, Kumara, Benn and Little gazelle-ing their way downfield?

Savory.

As I've posted before - I'd love to see Little at LB and part-time WR.

I don't know if you guys have heard of this kid, but there is a stud 5* WR out of Irving Texas that has ND strongly on his mind. RON BROOKS!!!!! Check this kid out. Go Irish

This group of players being sought out by Weis and staff are by far and away one of the most versitile and athletic groups we've seen in quite some time.

Some of these guys can play one, two, even three positions on the next level. Greg Little can contribute in a variety of ways.

Now all he has to do is verbal in four months.

In a story on Rivals, Brooks claims he has an Irish offer. I don't know if he does or doesn't though.

I would like to get Little since he can play multiple positions, but both him and Brooks are both only 4.5 in the 40 according to Scouts.com. Mike Ragone is reported to have 4.45 and he is a TE and not a WR. According to Scouts.com Brooks has an offer from us, but not Texas which would help to get him out of Texas. According to D.J. Donley we might not have room for him. If we don’t have room for him, why would we offer another wide receiver or are they just not interested in D.J. Donley?

I'm not sure Brooks and Donley have offers, but even if they do I doubt they're coming here.

I don't know who has seen Greg Little move and who hasn't, but a 4.5 forty should not concern you. Trust me on that one.

Little probably isn't as polished as Kumara and Benn, but he's built in a similar fashion and the three of them could provide a receiving trio that will ultimately go down as ND's best ever. What Rob Ianello can do for Greg Little scares me as a former DB.

Little is the type of WR that can move all around the field and come out of different formations. I think he's a bit more versitile than Kumara and Benn because of that.

If i were a DB with Benn Kamara and Little on the field I would cry. Each will be insanely hard to take on with one db on and help from a safety. The thing that is scariest about Little is that he is 6'5 with a big physical frame. There's no way a 5'10 185 db has a chance

greg little is 6'2 not 6'5. after ND brings in their top 3 WRs this year ND will have depth at WR. greg little would be a good WR but his talents are needed more at OLB IMO.

Not if they land Chris Donald, Harrison Smith and Martez Wilson. They can and they just might.

But I like this defensive style of thinking. Little could make a KILLER Apache linebacker for Minter's 11.

If we get Little Weis will put him through boot camp for his hands. I don't think he'll be a running back in college. But he's raw though. That's why he'll be a slot guy. Next to Kamara or Benn if we get him or some of the incoming freshmen like Richard Jackson or Barry Gallup.
