Who will be new AD?

And does anyone care? I mean, its sort of an important position considering what AD's have done to football recruiting GPA standards and schedule creations, but I don't see a lot of chatter on it but I would certainly like to. Are any names circulating, or are there any out there that you would like to see become the new AD at Notre Dame?

Gene Smith has taken his name out of consideration, and he is the only one I heard of so far (but I live in Mount Juliet, TN, not South Bend). Who else is a possibility?

Oh, I was thinking Paxon played college bball at UD. I'll look it up, but he and my dad were only a year apart in H.S. and both went on to Dayton he said, but you could be right. Maybe I'm thinking of Jim Paxon.
