While waiting for the next commitment for the 2008 class to emerge, I decided to look at how the numbers for opponents looked so far.(discounting Navy & Air Force)

Georgia Tech 4 commits
PSU 2
Michigan 7
MSU 1
Purdue 8
UCLA 19
BC 2
USC 7
Duke 7
Stanford 4

After looking at the schools on our schedule, I decided to look at some of the national powers and teams with strong recruiting coaches.

UNC 0
tOSU 9
Texas 20
Oklahoma 14
Florida 2
FSU 11
Miami 10
Georgia 15
Washington 6
Illinois 2

What surprised me numbers-wise, was Ty having 6 already, and Butch with the big goose-egg.

With USC being so loaded, it stands to reason that UCLA is gonna benefit for awhile. Those guys are gonna be pretty tough, let's hope they don't find offense anytime soon.

USC had 6 recruits going into Feb last year...then they got like 10 on the last week...all of them were 4 or 5 stars.

USC will have a better class than us again...so I would not even look to them for a comparison.
