Ok, I had to go to a Parent/Player Pre-Season football meeting at Concord (For the locals out there) tonight with my girlfriend's little brother, because both of their parents were out of town. Well it was pretty standardand basically the same meeting I had to sit through as a player when I was still in school, untill they got to the recruting section of the meeting. We then transferred over to a sheet that had tips to get noticed by schools, and a breakdown of scholarship opportunities at each level of college. It then went on to give the minimum, and preferred height, weight, and 40 times for each posistion at the D1 level. Then it listed preferred grades and test scores for athletes to recieve scholarships from D1 schools. They included a 3.0+ GPA, 24+ ACT, or 1000+ SAT (Old Format). I thought they were pretty accurate and reasonable UNTILL I saw this...

Preferred Grades Courtesy of the University of Florida, and Florida St. University.

It must be the blurred vision of your eye sight. For University of Florida, and Florida St. University (plus Miami) it's .3+ GPA, 2.4+ ACT, or 100.0+ SAT (ANY Format)!
