I think we all have heard the story of how Urban was able to get a gymnastics scholarship for Carl Moore's girlfriend, thus gaining Carl's committment. Well, he may have broke a few rules along the way. LOL.

Here's the link. About half way down is a section called This Gator in hot water?

Nice find. But look people. Plain and simple..... NOTHING is going to happen to Rich Rodriguez with his little ordeal, NOTHING is going to happen to Pete Carrol or Reggie Bush or Usc, And NOTHING is going to happen to Urban Meyer or Florida. They get away with murder and NOTHING is going to happen so dont get yur hopes up. Notre Dame is the only team that would get in trouble with that kind of situation. Because everyone HATES Notre Dame and want nothing but bad to happen.

And Nothing ever happened to SMU or Alabama. If they are proven to have committed the crimes I am confident they will do the time. Every SEC school besides Vandy has been on probation and it has been a while since the last one, looks like Florida might change that.

i think this is the first year in a long while no school in the SEC was on probation. you would think the NCAA would do something to remedy that and keep the status quo

Sooner or later, the NCAA is going to have to do something if stuff like this persists. Personally, I don't see how it can't. The Urbanater simply can't help himself.

Don't look now but Urbdouche has 21 committments (even though I thought they only had like 18 sholarships to give this year) with maybe even a few more to jump along. He just poached Miami committment Ramon Buchanan who has a RR of 6.0.

Not to worry.. he'll use the scholarships available for baseball, soccer, and womens gymnastics. If you have a 3.0 or above, he'll try to get you in on a full academic ride. I heard if Omar commits, he'll be using up a scholarship for the swim team.

See quote from the newspaper below.

From the Knoxville News Sentinel by Joe Adams:

"Recruiting Gaps: Florida Coach Urban Meyer is working on a third consecutive top-10 recruiting class, but that won't solve all his problems.
Florida, which had only four(4) senior starters this season, might have as few as six(6) next season, according to a story in the Gainesville Sun.
Former coach Ron Zook's last recruiting at Florida was a bust. So was Meyer's first class. Of the 41 players signed in the two classes, only 13 remain at Florida."

Look at those number. 28 is a staggering number, IMO. 28 kids washed out for one reason or another, grades, guns, car thefts, etc. How many did so because they didn't get the bill of goods they were sold?
