Here's a couple of pretty good articles detailing one person's view over at 247 of the top 10 victories against USC. I had actually forgot that for the 1988 game with a National Championship within our grasp, Holtz sent home Tony Brooks (leading rusher) and Ricky Watters (leading receiver) for repeated tardiness. Not to many coaches would've made the same choice.
