Too many penalties

Where is the damn dicipline that CW is alledgedly known for. Too many stupid mistakes costing us in the form of penalities.

Could have had this game wrapped up!!!

Yes. I believe they gave up 40 yards of penalties on Perdue's field goal drive when they had them stopped on 3rd and 20. Smith hit the QB late, then lined up offsides. Too much youthful exuberance, I guess.

Penalties can be the result of a two things....

1. A team that shows no disipline. (Coach needs to corrct that)
2. A lack of talent. A player being beat or caught out of position.

Why are the Irish having so many penalties every game??

I would have to say, the number 1 reason for penalties with a young team would be inexperience. -Don

from what i recall it looked like he was getting beat on plays....so they were desperation moves.
