Ok probably not the right message board....

But I thought it might be interesting to speculate on any surprise signings tomorrow.

You guys think the Weis and staff have any big surprises up their sleeves?!

I hope so just to piss off ESPN...HAHA

Of course they do. How many recruits have not committed to any school. Im sure tommorow we will get about 2-5 more recruits.

Expecting five recruits tommorrow is a little crazy if you ask me.

Weis is going to save his slots for next year when he is planning on getting the creme. I expect one more to choose the Irish. I guess it will be Brian Roche because Cee-Dub is working the New Jersey connection to the max. Don't think there will be any surprises.

Welcome to the information super highway. The only kids under consideration are the four that have offers: Quinn, Lorig, Wilson, and Roche.

You can't keep anything secret anymore.

Cushing's chances of coming to South Bend are the same as Bush's being elected for a third term.

Knowing W., he'd probably push for a Constitutional Ammendment.

So there's always hope. :)

Roche(ND,Louisville), Lorig (ND,Stan), & Quinn(ND, PSU) will be Irish in my opinion.

Wilson is a Buckeye in my opinion.

Lorig will play DE, so losing Wilson won't be to much of a blow if we get Lorig.

Well id thought id bump this up for today. Heres what kelly green says on the final four

Here are my predictions for national signing day:

Brian Roche: Who are you kidding, Brian? This guy has been Irish ever since he received his offer. I'll eat my hat if Roche ends up at Louisville.*

Erik Lorig: He'll end up at Cal or USC. Erik is too much of a west coast guy to leave for South Bend, of all places. Hard to blame him, as I came from California myself... and thats not an easy transition.

Steve Quinn: If he was going to honor his verbal to PSU, he'd already have done so. Quinn is making a big deal out of this announcement for a reason... he's Irish.

Lawrence Wilson: Lawrence has a tough decision ahead of him. OSU is a mediocre Big-10 "has-been" on the decline. They're facing potential NCAA sanctions and his chances of obtaining a degree are about 50/50. On the other hand, Notre Dame finally appears to be heading in the right direction. He could learn from the best minds in the sport, gain access to Weis' NFL connections, and walk away with a Notre Dame degree. Wait a minute... did I say he has a tough decision ahead of him? For some reason I think Wilson will make the wrong decision. Enjoy being aboard that sinking ship when it finally goes down, Lawrence.

*Disclaimer: I'm not really going to eat my hat.
