well they are just making sure everyone in the area is healthy! But when you read down a little it says, "The drugs discovered in testing over the past two years typically get into the water supply because they pass through a user's body and are flushed downstream" that's not cool at all.

Are you telling me that I'm drinking toilet water when I drink from the faucet?

you know, with the high price of prescription medications, we should actually be thankful we get those additives for free!

but it's not about taste. the whole point is there are certain substances that cannot be pulled out of the wastewater that eventually becomes drinking water. sorry, you're getting meds with your beer.

All water is recycled. The amount of water on earth stays the same, it just moves around in one form or another. So yeah, it surely has been in someone's toilet before. :devil_2:

I actually work at one of the companies on the list. I probably shouldn't say the name, but I live in Louisville, and I work for the Water Company, so I think you can figure it out. One of the 3 chemicals in our water was cafeine, so this should up water consumption in the morning, eh?

You actually have to test and treat each drug separately, so that would cost $$$$. Our drugs were measured in parts per trillion (PPT). One PPT is equivalent to something the size of a small aspirin in the size of an olympic size swimming pool. Just sayin.
