I've been drag racing since I got my license at 16. I've been out of it for a few years starting the family and a business. Finally getting back into it and I'm about to finish my new "budget build" engine in the next month or so. Still haven't decided exactly what it's going in.

Amazing car!
My uncle bought one of the replica kits from Factory Five about 15 years ago and we put a carbed 302 with an an alphabet cam and a T5 in it. That car was so fun to drive. One of my all-time favorite cars.

It is a hand full. Almost 600 rw bhp and 550 tq. It is one of shelbys continuation cars. Fiberglass body. Rest is vintage 60's equipment. The girdling brakes do not inspire confidence at speed and there is no area. At 90-100 I can waggle the wheel 15% without effect. Back in the day the guys racing cobras had brass balls.
