I don't think that they were trying to compare CDub to the Pantheon, but were trying to instill the sense of Tradition and CDub being an ND grad...but I can see your point.

A GLARING omission is why isn't Leahy there?????? He won as many NCs as Rock and Lou combined! But I guess I'd be content with having a big bronze statue in front of Rock's House.

yeah, but rock and lou are two guys that still resonate with young(er) fans and recruits today. many of us are Irish fans because of the history (rockne) and the wins that holtz put on the board during our impressionable youths...

Hey, I've brought this up before, for some reason Leahy always gets the shaft when people talk about that upper-echelon of Notre Dame coaches (multiple NC winners). They remember Rockne and Ara, but Leahy's always the odd man out of that conversation for some reason. I've never been able to figure it out myself either.

I have heard about lots of contraversy as the shirt does not contain the image of Leahy and some of the students are talking about boycotting it again. Personally I don't like the shirt and would hope that they would change it before the start of the season, I know it won't happen but hey I can dream.

I'd say it is a very dark navy blue. When I first saw it, I thought it looked black as well.
