How can he have 2 years left? He's going to be a 5th year senior in '08. He'll be part of the '09 draft, but unless he "sets the world on fire" next season he'll go undrafted.

I think we are underrating him here. Honestly, we have struggled these last couple years with getting pressure on the opposing teams' QB. If you can't do that your secondary will get burned for sure.

I have no problems with Lambert. If we could put more pressure on the opposing QB's, our secondary will be fine.

I accually think Lambert has approved each year. I think he'll be very good this year and he and Walls will hold it down.

He, with most of the secondary, looked downright lost in 2005 and 2006. They played quite a bit better last year, even when most of the team took a few steps backwards. Lambert is a great athlete and was usually in good position last year, he just needs to learn to turn his head at the right moment. The potential is there. With another spring to soak up the system, this could be his time. I have a feeling the starting corners by mid 2008 will be Walls and Gary Gray though.

I think Walls has played MUCH better then him!! He gets burnt A LOT...I am sure I can find some clips on youtube if you need proof. Or look at highlights of other receivers scoring on ND and you will see the back of his Jersey!
