I'll tell you what, if this guy ends up at scUM it should be as a head coach and not a coordinator. Either way, if he ends up there it will be an upgrade to who they have now. Tenuta is a very well kept secret to the mass population.

I love his style. He's a gambler and it burns him from time to time, but it's fun to watch. I've seen the Gtech defense wear down a bit over the course of a game, especially when their offense couldn't stay on the field. (Reggie Ball is about as accurate as a blind sharpshooter) At Michigan, he would have more depth to throw at opposing offenses. I really hope this doesn't happen.

if there's truth to the rumor, it could be a backdoor hire for the HC position. michigan likes to hire from within, and his presence on the team as DC for the 2006 campaign lines him up conveniently for Lloyd's inevitable retirement in '07 or '08.

All of this is NOT GOOD........could be the first intelligent decision scUM has made coaching-wise since.....................

Let's hope that'll be dumb enough to punt on this like Bo to Rocket.....

I remember Tenuta when he was DC for UNC. Those were some of the best defenses Carolina has ever had. He's good. I wouldn't sleep on him. Georgia
Tech's defense is pretty good. I imagine he would make Michigan's defense even better.

I think Carr knows his butts on the line. Mich recruits in the top ten almost every year. If they can do better than 7-4 than you know the coaches are gonna take a hit. There's a lot of rumblings from MI fans they want him out. I know, I live in that state. But only 35 min from Mecca. I guess we'll see that Georgia Tech D up close and personal first game this season.

Notre Dame had 239 yards of total offense against scUM this past year. Personally, I think Tom Brady had a lot to do with that.

Tenuta, in my opinion, is waiting for an HC job to open beause that is his next step. DC at GT and DC at scUM really aren't that different in terms of job stature. DC at scUM is a slight upgrade but is a lateral move for him for the most part.

I don't think he moves until he takes an HC job.
