The odd thing is that the pre-evaluation Rivals 100 for juniors comes after they've played. And those always turn out to be pretty far-off. Now, trying to rank prospects before they've even played their junior year is crazy. It'll be interesting to look back at that list when they're seniors and they've been ranked by Rivals/Scout.
Still, an interesting read, and I appreciate your posting it. I don't know whether anyone has seen DJ Shoemate (the USC commit), but the guy is a full-grown man, it's hilarious.
