I don't know how many of you, if any, are here for the reunion here this weekend but I figured I'd make a thread for those of you that are here or are planning on being here. A couple of things from Friday:
- Ran into Malik Zaire outside of legends today and I'll say that this kid is built to wear out defenses late in games in addition to our stable at running back. Excited to see what the running game looks like.
- Met Todd Lyght at the black alumni dinner tonight. Said that he feels the secondary is going to have a great year, but does need to work on some things in order for this year to be a special year. Said he is glad to be back and mentioned that his time at Bishop Gorman was "one of his best coaching experiences to date." Really likes the direction that the team was heading.
-Met Autry Denson at the same dinner. Seems very enthusiastic about the group he has and the year as a whole. Definitely seems like a guy that is going to work as hard as he possibly can to make the kids better. As far as the recruiting tail is concerned, I feel that he will make his impact sooner rather than later. He has his own unique story, and has the personality that can relate to today's recruit. Overall, this has been the perfect weekend and I may have more info from the two coaches tomorrow.
