Reassure me that the Irish WILL get a much-needed "W" this weekend when they host Syracuse???

I am an infrequent poster here, but I love the site. I am an alum, class of '98, and of course love the Irish with all my heart. Year in and year out for most of the last decade, my family and I have made the heralded pilgrimmage from NY to South Bend, only to watch the Irish lose more times that I care to remember - sometimes in heart breaking fashion (i.e. Michigan State, 2005, OT after an unbelieveable comeback, Quinn having a monster game, total offensive production from teams combined at something like 700+ yards!!) and other times just PURE beat downs (i.e. Michigan, 2006, got to sit in the GOLD seats behind the Michigan bench, heckled Henney for about one-half quarter, then watched in utter disbelief as all of my hopes for a NC/Heisman/return to glory went away in just over 3 hrs.) THIS year, I couldn't STAND the thought of driving 13 hours to watch another loss, so we chose a game that, at least on PAPER, looked good for us.

Please tell me the Irish won't let me down this saturday!!!!

I think this is a game that you are going to see Notre Dame dominate. Yes I said it people! I thought earlier that it may be a close game but its the last home game and the troops will be ready. Notre Dame wins 46-19.

Thank you NDOM!! You bring tears to my eyes!!

I can see from all the props you've gotten that you MUST know what you're talking about.
So, thank you.

Yea all the Irish have to do is stack the box on D and they will do whatever they please on O. We'll dominate both sides even without our best WR and LB...I'll be at the Linebacker to celebrate after the game if anybody wants to join!!!!

I would love to celebrate with a fellow townsman but I won't be here. Sad to say I'll be in Indy. Where bouts do you live in Osceola? South or north of the river? I grew up south of the river off of Beech Road and now live North of the river off of Beech Road.

If we can handle a sad-sack Syrucuse team at HOME.....then maybe it is time for CW to pack his bags.
