Reassure me that the Irish WILL get a much-needed "W" this weekend when they host Syracuse???
I am an infrequent poster here, but I love the site. I am an alum, class of '98, and of course love the Irish with all my heart. Year in and year out for most of the last decade, my family and I have made the heralded pilgrimmage from NY to South Bend, only to watch the Irish lose more times that I care to remember - sometimes in heart breaking fashion (i.e. Michigan State, 2005, OT after an unbelieveable comeback, Quinn having a monster game, total offensive production from teams combined at something like 700+ yards!!) and other times just PURE beat downs (i.e. Michigan, 2006, got to sit in the GOLD seats behind the Michigan bench, heckled Henney for about one-half quarter, then watched in utter disbelief as all of my hopes for a NC/Heisman/return to glory went away in just over 3 hrs.) THIS year, I couldn't STAND the thought of driving 13 hours to watch another loss, so we chose a game that, at least on PAPER, looked good for us.
Please tell me the Irish won't let me down this saturday!!!!
