Photo Editing Question

Hey all,

Is there any way to take a logo or area within a picture and completely remove the area surrounding it?

I want to order 2 custom tervis tumblers for my mom and sister of their respective alma maters and since neither school has them already I have to custom order them. The photos I upload have white backgrounds and I want to delete those and cannot do it on their website or in paint. I'm out of my area of expertise so any help is much appreciated!

You can do pretty much anything with Photoshop.

I could figure this out for you pretty easily in photoshop. The only question would be what type of file are the printers requiring and why do you need to ditch the white background? Anyhow, pm me if you want and I could try to figure this out.
