what the hell is ESPN thinking putting this queen on gameday? he is a sissy pop-singer for a boy band for gods sake! i can not beleive the network would stoop to this low. this is the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen, it just proves when you are famous and you have money, you can do whatever you want. ESPN is a bunch of f*ckin sellouts. He was on the show last week and I thought it was a one time thing, but i just saw his ass again and I am pissed. He is a bandwagon fan if ive ever seen him, he claims he roots for all the teams from ohio, but he said he was a lifelong fan of USC! what a douchebag. whos going to be next on ESPN, PRINCE?!! Also, I am noticing Mark May looks real agitated at Herby because he put him in his place last week. May just looks pissed off this morning at the world. Maybe he will quit too. Im out.....

Ahh, Taylor makes me sick sometimes, he bad mouthed ND and the talent last Jan. and that firing Ty was a mistake, lets see Charlie: 2-0 Ty: 0-2. Who made the right choice Mr. Taylor, dont jump on the bandwagon; you didnt stick with them last year, you maybe the best O-Line of the 90's but I dont like bandwagon fans.

hes still a douche...... who would win in a fight, richard simmons or lechey? simmons might come off as "different" but he can slap really hard, which might fit up lechey's ally

How is he a USC fan, he is from OHIO and love the reds and the bengals!! Oh let me guess - in order to got on ESPN he had to jump on the USCSPN bus. ND will never sign a contract with ESPN!!!!!

Thank you, Nayers. This is why I don't understand why some of our Envy posters get so worked up about crap that May and Corso say...or any of the morons on ESPN say. Hoops has Bilas and Digger, then there is a dropoff in talent. Esp. Stuart Scott. I'd like to see Corey Mays take him out too.

Yeah, I don't get this. He's a big Cincinnati basketball fan, too. Last I checked, they have a football team.

But SC is winning and it is the cool thing to do in L.A. just like the Lakers were. When their time comes in the cycle, it will fade...just like Spago did.

I have zero problems with any of those alums that spoke out during that whole fiasco. What made things right was Weis. Zorich thought it was a bull$hit deal, too. Weis called Zorich and he was an honorary coach at the Spring Game. Done. Weis has united the players, alums, fans and former players.

I'm not one to sugarcoat everything when it comes to ND. I'm pretty honest and more of a devil's advocate than anyone else on this site. I'd hardly say that Taylor is a bandwagon hopper. He's a former All American and he disagreed with something the university did. A lot of people did, including myself. However, when they hired Weis this was a favorable move to a lot of people, including myself. Things came to the surface about the last staff and it turns out it was a lot more than wins and losses. Thus, the right move was made.

Maybe if the school didn't look like @ssholes everytime they fire a coach (O'Leary, Urban) they wouldn't get the criticism they deserve. The last staff started 8-0 in their first year and were gone after year three.

Weis is 2-0. The road ahead has a long way yet to be traveled, but things look pretty darn good.

he's a usc bandwagon bastard. it he had any loyalty, he would cheer for an ohio team. if he likes Cincinnatti basketball, he should cheer for them in football too.

Ever think that maybe it was part of his/their contract when he and JS signed w/ ABC for their "variety show" (note: Disney/ABC owns ESPN). Also, it's Espn's push for ENTERTAINMENT viewers, while downplaying sports...the network is becoming like "A Current Affair" w/ some sports programming....

That being said and if true, he's still a putz.

The things Aaron Taylor said, in my estimation, were completely offensive. They were not appropriate and went beyond the realm of simple opposition to Willingham's firing; he attacked the very institution itself, and mocked the name of Our Lady. He is a bad representative of the school. It was very different from the things Zorich or Ismail said, which focused on the firing.

EDIT: Oh heck, give me time and I'll probably get over it. But he really pissed me off.
