I forgot about the new overtime rule changes taking affect for this years playoffs. Curious to see if the changes will have any affect on this years games...

If team A wins the toss and elects to recieve, if they score a TD, the game is over.

If team A wins the toss, elects to recieve and is faced with 4th and 1 from the 30 and they elect to kick a FG, if they make it, then Team B gets an opportunity to score.
- If team B then scores a TD, then Team B wins.
- If team A missed their FG from the 30, and Team B then kicks a FG, then Team B wins the game

If Team A wins the toss, elects to recieve, and then proceeds to fumble the kickoff and Team B recovers, Team B can then kick a field goal and the game is over.

If the game is still tied after each teams possessions, then sudden death rules apply.

I like the rule changes. I am a fan of anything that adds more strategy to a game.

Lucky for Donovan Mcnabb he doesn't need to worry about the O.T. rules this year.
