ND Band---away games

Trying to buy tix for Maryland/ ND game in November and want to sit near the ND band.

How does the school determine whether the band travels, and how would I find out which section/ area the band will be seated?

Similar to the Army game last year, I'm almost positive the band will be there. For the last two years the band has been to our neutral site games (San Antonio then NYC). However I can't answer the question about where in the stadium the band will be sitting, sorry!

Hoping they will be at the scUM game, don't they usually because it is so close?

The band definitely travels to the UM games... they take lots of crap from the home fans too

Yeah... It seems that if the game is within a bus ride, they make the trip. I think they usually make one major road trip a year via plane due to budget concerns. I'm sure that it will be discussed as we get closer to the season. I've seen it talked about the past couple of seasons here and elsewhere.
