I just watched the Baltimore Ravens/Washington Redskins scrimmage today and had the enjoyment of seeing Freeman have a spotlight near the end of the game.

The play was a double TE/Single RB set. Play-action tackle run to the left, Freeman pulled across the field the opposite way of the fake run and Troy Smith hit him for a good 11 yard gain. At the end he lowered his shoulder and trucked some 10th string saftey. It was good to see him getting a shot with the Ravens. I could see him making the roster as a 3rd TE. They already have Heap and Wilcox ahead of him.

Marcus Freeman was the Raven's leading receiver (in terms of yards) in their first preseason game. He had 2 catches for 41 yards.

I was under the impression Baltimore was pretty deep at tight end, but he seems to be doing well.

I think he'll make the team because he is a valuable blocker.
