Looking for 2 Navy Tickets...

My girlfriend and I are looking at coming up to South Bend on Nov. 3 for the game against Navy. Neither of us have been to a game before and we are driving up from Kentucky. What is the best way to go about getting tickets for this game? I've heard people say to go to the ticket office early on Saturday and people may have turned tickets in, but I don't know if that is a very good idea when driving 7 hours to find out I we can't get in. What's the chances of getting them that way?

If anyone is willing to part with 2 tickets to that game I will be happy to pay a more than fair value, please PM me. We are really excited to get a chance to see the Irish in person for the first time.

Thanks!

There are a couple things you can do.

1) If you or your girlfriend are an alumni, if you go to the joyce center ticket office at like 10 am on saturday, you can get tickets that people have given back or were not sold. My dad and i did this a few years ago and eded up on the 50 yard line behind the ND bench, only 15 rows up.

2)stubhub
3)be prepared to give an arm and a leg to a scalper

I went last year for the North Carolina game. Everyone buying was looking to pay 1/2 price. I was never offered tickets over face value. If you can wait till 1 hour before kickoff some nice alumni will give you a good deal. I also went to the Tennessee game the year before and had no problem. Now USC, probably would get them before
