LaRon Moore to Texas Tech

He announced last night on Lemming's show on CSTV. Make no mistake about it, it seemed pretty clear that he wanted ND and was in if there was room. It was him or West and West jumped in first.

One good thing is that he is not heading to a school which is competing for McCoy as they are teammates.

Tech is a great fit for Moore. He's the type of jitterbug receiver that excels in spread offenses like theirs. I hope he puts up huge numbers and I think he will. Good luck to the young man.

I like LaRon Moore and wish he could have gotten into the mix.

Lately, ND hasn't been able to get guys on official visits. Now there is a waiting list.

It is a wonderful thing, but unfortunately this won't be the last time a kid like Moore wants to be Irish but ends up going in another direction.

Notre Dame is back to selecting rather than recruiting.

I think ND needed this guy, I just think that there was something about him that would have fit at ND.

Seemed as though he really wanted to be here from the start. A lot of people saw him as part of the deal to land McCoy and while that may be true, I thought more of him than that.

He's fast. He's smart. I think he'll do well at Texas Tech.
