There are definitely some things about OSU that cause me worry.. but I still think that ND will end up with the 'W' at the end of the day.
OSU's offense has done a lot better recently... but if you look into it, you'll see why that is so. With the exception being Michigan, Ohio State's offensive 'explosion' occurred against the likes of Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, and Minnesota---none of which have reputable defenses.
I'm not saying Notre Dame's defense is much better than any of these teams (though it certainly is better), but rather that none of these teams had an offense that could make up for their play on the other side of the ball. Northwestern's offense is a paper tiger and Minnesota's is too reliant on the running game. Minnesota gave Ohio State a tough match in the first half.
And I doubt any of you watched it, but Michigan State dominated the first half of the OSU game until an assistant coach made a major personel mistake that led to a blocked FG that would be returned for a TD by OSU. That changed the momentum and ensured OSU the victory.
Remember too that Penn State and Texas may very well be the two most overrated teams in the country.
But most of all, remember that this is a new Notre Dame football team. These guys are winners. Their coach will keep them in the game and lead them to a 'W'.
