Home Games - NBC - High Def??

Does anyone know if NBC is finally going to broadcast the Irish in High Def? I am so sick of watching home games in regular definition. You would think with the new contract - and Dick Ebersol - that this would be a requirement.

the word on the street is that they are going to be in HD this season

However, from what I have read, if you have Dish Network or DirecTV you will not have HD for ND games. I have checked with my local ABC and NBC affilates so someone please correct me if I have been told wrong. Because I have Dish Network and would like to know otherwise.

i too have dish network - i believe in order to get local channels in hd, you have to get an over the air antenna (OTA) which you can get for about $20 at best buy - haven't got one yet, but am planning on it - and then you get all the local channels that broadcast in hd on top of what dish offers at no extra charge.
