A buddy of mine was recently in an accident. He was hit by a truck and injured pretty bad. The driver of the truck has never been found. It was a hit and run.
He already has Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease which is a neuromuscular disease and it has always limited his ability to walk and hold things like a cup of water.
He has Medicare but they will only cover his leg braces once every 5 years, and he just got them within the past 2 years.
Needless to say he is in very bad shape at the moment.
They have set up a GoFundMe page for help with his braces.
Any help that they receive I’m sure would really be appreciated and if ya wouldn’t mind sharing with anyone you might know on Facebook or any other platform it would great!
