Like the article says, he didn't go to Hawaii for personal reasons, and is not enrolled at the university for spring classes. Best case scenario: he pulls a Pat Kuntz and comes back this summer.

Didn't we all have a pretty good idea that this was coming from the thread about him not going to Hawaii?? Maybe Walls can be an inspiration for Gray to get things right and come back to the Irish.

With Pollard headed to UCLA, this really makes makes Gray an important cog. I bet Gary noticed that Pollard is not coming. With Walls and McNeil both possibly gone after 09, Gray could be starter for two years. He would be foolish to leave.

i would hope gray spoke to walls about his time away and perseveres with the same attitude and dedication as DW. ND is a place for life and darrin is committed. it's a great opportunity for DW to be a leader and help GG through this difficult time.
