Great to hear that news.

A player like that could really be the Jimmy Clausen of the defensive side of the ball for this class.

OOOOHHHHH yeah!! I've been wondering about this type of thing forever now and no one else has really said it, but here goes. I've wondered why losing a big game like the last one would hurt recruiting sometimes. I like to look at it in a positive light and different perspective such as if I was the player, heck if that's the best their current DB's and defense can play, I gotta go there. I could start as a freshman. Sometimes I just don't buy into good defensive players wanting to go to good defensive teams already and get buried on the depth chart until they're upper classmen. I always look at ND's TV contract as a HUGE bargaining chip as well. What 5 star athlete doesn't want to be on TV every single weekend of the year?

I don't care why just that he commited...Please Lord bring me many more d players...4 front lineman that can penetrate 3 five star lbs with size and speed speed speed serious cover guys in the backfield that can dominate against any team would fulfill my dreams

Yeah, its great and all, but right now, after the additions of Walls and McNeil last year, I think I'd give up a prospect in the secondary in return for a big, nasty, punishing MLB who makes guys afraid to run up the middle...

Still, great job by the coaching staff getting this kid to commit. the secondary should be pretty slick in a couple years between the 3 big guys (or should I say ridiculously fast guys?) at corner and all those prospects at safety. I just hope they get some big-time linebackers and interior lineman to commit soon.

I guess I feel sorry for him now that he got beat down in the NFL and now at SC. And his prized recruit decommitted and went to us. But, I'm not losing any sleep over it. He can lose every game for all I care.

I wonder if this commit will affect Mark Barnes. Probably not.

Seriously, Weis is stacking the team with GREAT DB talent... This bodes very well for the future.
