EAST LANSING, Mich. - Fans planning to attend Saturday's Michigan State-Notre Dame football game should be aware of the threat of inclement weather. In the event of a weather emergency at Spartan Stadium, information will be posted on the large screen located on the south scoreboard. If the decision is made to evacuate the stadium, information will be posted on the large screen, and announcements will be made over the stadium sound system.
Patrons will be directed to exit the stadium as instructed by ushers, special events staff and police.
If the stadium is evacuated due to lightning or other dangerous weather approaching, patrons parked in the vicinity of the stadium will be asked to seek shelter in their vehicles. Other patrons will be directed to Wells Hall or the IM West building for shelter. When the threat from weather passes, patrons will be re-admitted to the stadium with a ticket stub for the current game.
