I was watching Real Sports on HBO and saw an amazing story about a little girl named Jaclyn who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She ended up being "adopted" by the Northwestern University Girls Lacrosse Team. She and her father started the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation to help other kids with brain tumors get paired up with college athletics teams.

My daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor 3 yrs ago tomorrow. She will have her next mri on Nov 7- she is doing an experimental tx and has been cancer free for a year-two more to go to be cured.
